Veteran multifamily leasing professional to oversee strategy across entire Larken Living portfolio
Larken Associates, a leading full-service commercial and residential real estate firm, announces the hiring of Michael Leibowitz as Leasing Manager. He will oversee leasing strategy across the firm’s approximately 3,000-unit, 20-community Larken Living residential portfolio.
Streamlining Leasing Operations and Enhancing the Resident Experience
As Leasing Manager, Leibowitz will work alongside Jessica Heckman, ARM, CPM, Executive Vice President of Multifamily Operations, and Larken Associates’ regional property managers to maximize asset performance and enhance the overall resident experience. He will also lead efforts to streamline leasing operations and create a more versatile structure that allows the company to apply its expertise and resources across both its Class A and Class B communities. Additionally, Leibowitz will work to strengthen Larken’s CRM systems and provide training and team-building support to leasing staff.
Bringing Extensive Multifamily Leasing Experience to Larken Associates
Leibowitz joins Larken Associates from Edgewood Properties, where he served as Leasing Manager and led lease-ups of several new luxury multifamily communities in New Jersey. Prior to his time at Edgewood Properties, Leibowitz held residential leasing roles at Greystar Real Estate Partners, a global real estate company specializing in rental housing, and Equity Residential, a prominent, publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT) headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.
