Our annual Company Picnic is a time to celebrate the people who make Larken Associates what it is. I enjoy working with my team from my accountant to my director of property management and everybody that I've met along the way. For 40 years or more, I was a paralegal in law offices. I enjoyed helping people, but I always felt that something was missing. Larken Associates has given us a lot of tools and technology to succeed on a day-to-day basis. We have an extremely supportive regional team when it comes from the director, regional property managers, and directors of maintenance. They are just a phone call or email away. Anybody is reachable at any time during the day, which really helps us succeed on a day-to-day basis for not only our team, but for our residents.
For anyone new starting at Larken, you're going to find that this is a very supportive company. Even though our corporate office is in New Jersey and our community is located in Pennsylvania, I never feel like we don't have the support that we need when something comes up that I maybe don't have the answer to.
I've never had a time where I haven't been able to get in contact with someone to help me with the situation. So, that's really made a huge difference and really helps you feel like you have that extra support when you need it.
