Larken Associates Donates School Supplies to 36 Residents Across Larken Living Portfolio
Larken Associates, a regional leader in real estate building, development and management, is proud to share that it has provided 36 residents across the Larken Living portfolio with school supplies through its Back-to-School Giveaway. Each winner of this year’s giveaway received a backpack filled with school supplies to help start the year strong.
This time of year can be difficult for families living on a budget. Our team’s mission is to enhance the communities we serve, not just through our work of bringing great residential and commercial spaces to life, but by giving back to those in need. We’re proud to have helped supply two dozen students with the tools they need to learn, grow and find success in the classroom.
Larken Associates is deeply committed to giving back through its Larken Cares initiatives. Among many charitable endeavors, the firm holds its annual Larken Cares Drive during the holiday season to collect much-needed food and supplies from team members and residents. Items collected are then donated to local charities in need of support.
In addition, the firm partners with From Houses to Homes, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing sustainable housing, education and healthcare to indigenous Guatemalan families facing poverty. Each year, Larken Associates sends a team of volunteers to the nation to construct a home and distribute food, clothing and other supplies. The firm also sponsors the education of two students at Escuela Kemna’Oj, a K-9th grade school in Guatemala established by From Houses to Homes in 2013.
