We celebrated another incredible year at Larken Associates! Our annual company holiday party was a night filled with delicious food, holiday spirits, live music, and endless laughter as we celebrated our amazing associates.
Each year, we celebrate Thanksgiving together with a potluck lunch at our corporate office in Branchburg, NJ and our Bethlehem and York, PA locations. Our team brings in appetizers, entrees, and desserts to share with one another. It's a great chance to get to know each other better —and try some new recipes.
Our corporate office team brought the spooky spirit of the season to our annual Halloween costume contest. Congratulations to our winners!
Thanks to our hardworking team, our Larken Living residential communities took home multiple First Place and Trilogy awards at the 2024 Keystone Awards by the Pennsylvania Apartment Association! We were incredibly proud to be recognized for outstanding leasing, maintenance and overall quality.
From delicious food trucks and cocktails to live music and exciting games, we had a blast soaking up the sun and creating lasting memories together at our 2024 Summer Picnic! We also recognized our Star Award recipients who shined bright this year by going above and beyond, making remarkable contributions to Larken.
Two of our favorite office mascots, Huck and Sophie, have been promoted to Big Brother and Big Sister! Congratulations to Christine, our Commercial Leasing Assistant, and Jodi, our Human Resources Generalist, who are both expecting new bundles of joy. Our team came together to celebrate the excitement of their growing families and new chapters of life.
Larken Associates received 10 awards at the 40th Annual Awards of Excellence hosted by the Metro Builders and Contractors Association, an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders! The Reserve at Crosswicks, our multifamily community in Bordentown, NJ, won Best Community Clubhouse, Best Sales Office, Best Accessory Building for a Community, Best Signage for a Community, Best Brochure for a Community, Best Logo for a Community, Best Creative Sales and Marketing Support and Best Direct Mail Piece - New Media Electronic. Larken Associates also received The Give Back Award in support of From Houses to Homes Guatamala and Executive Vice President of Marketing Melissa Nascimento was recognized as Marketing Executive of the Year for the second year in a row!
We all screamed for ice cream as the Scream Truck rolled into our corporate office, showering our team with sweet scoops of happiness. Indulging in delicious treats is just one of the many perks of #LarkenLife!
For a third year in a row, Larken Associates took home awards at the New Jersey Builders Association SAM Awards in Atlantic City! Our residential community The Reserve at Crosswicks was awarded Best Brochure Using a Corporate Jacket, Best Interior Merchandising for a Common Space and Best E-Blast. We took home the Above and Beyond Community Service Award, and Melissa Nascimento, our Executive Vice President of Marketing, was also recognized as Leasing Marketing Director of the Year - Rental Communities!
We wished a happy 60th birthday to our President/CEO David Gardner! We surprised him with a Grateful Dead-themed party with tie-dye shirts, delicious food and lots of laughs. Thanks to all who helped us pull it off!
It's a paws-atively great day when our team brings in their furry family members! Being a pet-friendly office helps our team make stronger connections with each other as they get to know one another's four-legged companions.

Larken Associates won 13 awards at the 38th Annual Awards of Excellence from the Metropolitan Builders and Contractors Association of New Jersey, an affiliate of the National Home Builders Association! Our Design and Construction Project Manager Jillian and Creative/Marketing Director Melissa Nascimento were honored to accept the awards for our Larken Living residential community Autumn Ridge at Lopatcong, including Community of the Year, Best Rental Community Under $2,500 per Month, Best Community Clubhouse, Best Signage for a Community and more!
During Women In Construction Week, we officially became a member of the National Association of Women in Construction! With so many women on our team, we're especially proud to be a member of this association that advocates for the value and impact of women builders, professionals and tradeswomen in all aspects of the construction industry.
We loved having our extended Larken family here for Take Your Child to Work Day! Thank you to all of the little helpers who came to visit us.
Our team went out to the ball game at our First Annual Company Baseball Outing to cheer on the Lehigh Valley IronPigs! We may have struck out due to rain, but we'll hopefully get home run weather next year.
