Larken Associates announces the completion of a new 4,300-square-foot office space for Core Enterprises, the company’s in-house full-service residential and commercial construction team, located at its headquarters at 1250 Route 28 in Branchburg, NJ.
Established in 2010, Core Enterprises provides Larken Associates with a full suite of end-to-end construction services to bolster the firm’s development capabilities while also providing experienced construction management services on third-party residential and commercial construction jobs across the northeast. Today, Core Enterprises boasts a staff of highly experienced and detail-oriented project managers, project supervisors, carpenters, interior designers, estimators, and other construction professionals capable of executing even the most complex site development, mix-use, multifamily, single-family, industrial, office, storage and retail construction projects.
Previously based out of office space within Larken Associates’ 13,000-square-foot Branchburg headquarters, Core Enterprise’s rapid growth necessitated the creation of a dedicated 4,300-square-foot office space on the building’s third floor to meet the company’s evolving needs.
Managing the design and construction of its headquarters, Core Enterprises sought to create a space capable of accommodating for a growing, modern construction team with a layout focused on increasing collaboration, productivity, and flexibility. The office also serves as an active showroom for Core Enterprises’ office buildout and design capabilities by incorporating a contemporary office design, state-of-the-art fixtures and furniture, and the latest advances in commercial lighting. With an eye toward the post-pandemic future of work, the office has also been designed around best practices in workplace safety and wellness with six-foot-wide hallways, workstations separated by glass partitions and a wellness room.

Currently, Core Enterprises is overseeing construction on Larken Associates’ robust pipeline of multifamily projects across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Core Enterprises has guided the construction of Autumn Ridge, a 198-unit luxury Larken Living multifamily residential rental community nearing completion in Lopatcong, NJ. Last year, Core Enterprises also broke ground on Larken Associates’ The Reserve at Crosswicks, a 272-market-rate-and-affordable-unit residential community in Bordentown, NJ, and Hillsborough Village Center, a mixed-use project comprised of 191 luxury market-rate and affordable apartments with approximately 28,000 square feet of ground-level retail space. Additionally, Core Enterprises is overseeing the construction of The Oaks at Copper Chase, a 107-unit residential complex being built on the site of The Reserve at Copper Chase, a 132-unit residential community the company acquired in 2019 located in York, PA.
In addition to their work on Larken’s residential pipeline, Core Enterprises also provides construction support for Larken Associates’ three-million-square-foot commercial portfolio. The Core Enterprises team oversees all capital improvement work, turnkey repositioning and redevelopment and tenant fit-outs, as well as preventative maintenance and inspection services, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and lighting repairs and seasonal maintenance. Currently, Core Enterprises is managing a complete exterior renovation at The Pinnacle @ 65, a 50,977-square-foot high-rise, mixed-use building, and a common area renovation at 3 West Broad Street, a 125,155-square-foot office building, both located in downtown Bethlehem, PA.
Further leveraging their significant experience and deep capabilities, Core Enterprises is also regularly tapped for construction services outside of the Larken portfolio. Currently, Core Enterprises is managing a multimillion-dollar project to remove and replace outdated site infrastructure at the Ba Mar manufactured home community in Stony Point, NY.
