Larken Associates' Director of Design Jillian Dorell Named a 2023 NJBIZ Leader in Real Estate, Construction and Design
Larken Associates, a regional leader in real estate building, development and management, announces that Director of Design Jillian Dorell has been selected for NJBIZ’s 2023 Leaders in Real Estate, Construction and Design awards.
Selected annually, the NJBIZ Leaders in Real Estate, Construction and Design awards spotlight individuals and companies who are changing the commercial real estate landscape of New Jersey through development, design, construction, project management, collaboration and innovation.
Dorell was selected in recognition of her role in helping Larken Associates create in-demand, award-winning communities and workplaces across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Since 2015, Dorell has helped the company bring over 1,000 new residential units to New Jersey and complete buildouts for tenants and capital improvement projects across the company’s nearly four million-square-foot commercial portfolio.
At the heart of Dorell’s success is her ability to balance trend-setting interior and exterior design with a keen focus on budgeting and the construction process. In addition, she serves as a powerful role model for her female colleagues and those looking to advance their careers in construction.
Highlighting her rising status within the commercial real estate industry, Dorell’s work at Larken Associates’ Hillsborough Village Center community helped the residential property receive the Best Home in a Rental Community with 200 Apartments or Less award at the New Jersey Builders Association’s 2023 Sales and Marketing Awards. In addition, the Metropolitan Builders & Contractors Association of New Jersey also awarded the community seven awards at their 2023 Awards of Excellence event.
