Larken Associates Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Celebrates 25 Years with Company
Larken Associates, a regional leader in real estate building, development and management, is proud to celebrate Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Lenny Tartamella’s 25th year with the company.
Joining Larken Associates in 1998, Tartamella has played a critical role in the company’s growth into one of the real estate industry’s most active and respected builders, developers and managers. Throughout his career at Larken Associates, his development and construction expertise paired with a hands-on approach has helped Larken Associates construct or reposition nearly 2,370,837 square feet of commercial space and bring over 3,475 residential units to the market.
I have been deeply honored to work with Lenny over the past 25 years. He is a true visionary and leader in the industry, and his contributions to our success are immeasurable. I am proud to celebrate this milestone with Lenny and look forward to his continued impacts on our company and the communities where we work.
Named Chief Operating Officer in 2016, Tartamella has leveraged his deep experience to drive the company’s strategic planning and the oversight of all property and asset management across Larken’s nearly four-million-square-foot multi-state real estate portfolio.
In addition, Tartamella also led the creation of Core Enterprises, Larken Associates’ in-house, full-service construction team, in 2010. Currently led by Tartamella, Core Enterprises has bolstered Larken Associates’ development capabilities with a full suite of in-house, end-to-end construction services. The division also executes third-party construction jobs across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Tartamella takes great pride in his role as a mentor and teacher for Larken Associates’ over 170 employees. Tartamella is known for his dedication and patience in helping his mentees develop their skills and knowledge. Focused on fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, he emphasizes the value of staying curious and adaptable in today's ever-changing commercial real estate landscape and he encourages every employee at Larken Associates to pursue continuous learning and growth.
