Larken Associates Promotes Alesha Torres to Yardi Systems Administrator for Residential Real Estate Portfolio
Larken Associates, a regional leader in commercial and residential real estate building, development and management, announces the promotion of Alesha Torres to Residential Accounting Manager and Yardi Systems Administrator. In this role, Torres will expand upon her current role as Residential Accounting Manager to focus on further integrating the Yardi platform into Larken Associates’ daily workflow through new user onboarding, case management, and employee training.

Since joining Larken Associates three years ago, Torres has shown an unwavering commitment to the continued success and growth of the firm’s residential accounting department. Recognizing her achievements, Torres was promoted to Residential Accounting Manager from Property Accountant in 2021 and recently earned her Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor certification (CAPS). As Residential Accounting Manager, Torres supervises the residential property accountants, evaluates the annual performance of staff, and implements and coaches through performance plans as necessary. Prior to joining Larken Associates, Torres gained experience as a bookkeeper for Integra Management Corporation where she processed millions of dollars in receivables for over 100 properties. Torres’ career began in her previous roles as office manager/bookkeeper for Amori & Riegel, LLC and accounting specialist for Nestle’s Dryer’s Ice Cream where she reviewed and processed $10 million in monthly company sales.
Building upon her success as Residential Accounting Manager, Torres’ new role as Yardi Systems Administrator will enable her to lead Larken Associate’s continued implementation of Yardi to further reap the efficiency, security and cost rewards provided by the integrated property management platform. Torres will work closely with Larken Associates’ Chief Financial Officer Babette Rutman to streamline internal processes, assist with case management and training, and establish larger-size projects on Yardi in support of the company’s overall strategic vision and recent growth.
