Larken Associates Breaks Ground on 198 Luxury Apartments in Warren County
Larken Associates has broken ground on a community of luxury apartments in Lopatcong Township, Warren County. The project expands Larken Associates’ footprint in a growing luxury market by adding 198 units to its Larken Luxury Living portfolio. The community, Autumn Ridge at Lopatcong, will offer Warren County residents one, two and three bedroom units in a luxury community setting. Autumn Ridge boasts a variety of floor plans with modern finishes, open-plan living and convenient in-unit laundry, as well as a variety of on-site amenities.
Larken Associates purchased the 16.5 acre site in 2018 from the former owners of Piazza Farms and Greenhouses on Route 57. The developer has a heavy presence in the Lopatcong area, having developed more than 1000 residential units over the past two decades. The Autumn Ridge community will accommodate a variety of living situations, offering age restricted units for the 55+ active adult community, affordable housing units and luxury garage and garden apartments without age restriction. Larken Associates President and CEO, David Gardner, says 20% of the units will be “affordable,” as determined by state regulations.
Autumn Ridge will offer 148 non-age restricted luxury garden and garage apartments with a variety of layouts. Current site plans reserve six buildings for luxury garden style units. They offer one, two and three bedroom apartments with up to two baths. Garage apartments will have one or two bedrooms per unit. State of the art indoor amenities include a fitness center, conference room, game room and lounge with dry bar, all as a part of Autumn Ridge’s recreation center. The community also features a wealth of outdoor amenities - a swimming pool and lounge area, walking and biking trails, grill station and dog run among them.
Autumn Ridge will serve the growing 55+ active senior community by offering fifty luxury apartments in a four-story elevator building. Horizons at Autumn Ridge, part of the developer’s Larken Senior Living portfolio, will feature a variety of one and two bedroom units, with up to two baths each. Grounds and gardens will be tended year-round by staff at Autumn Ridge. The senior building will feature its own amenities including a fitness center and swimming pool.
Lopatcong Township is one of north western New Jersey’s fastest growing business and residential communities.
