Developer Plans Extensive Renovations to 45,000 and 17,000 Square Foot Buildings
Less than seven months after purchasing the Raritan Crossing outdoor mall, Larken Associates is making another investment in the Raritan market with the acquisition of an office complex comprised of two Class B office buildings located on 3.84 acres at 575 Route 28.
The owner and manager of 2.5 million square feet of flex/warehouse, self-storage, retail, medical and office space in New Jersey and Pennsylvania plans to refurbish and renovate the buildings and rebrand them as the Raritan Valley Professional Center.
The 45,000 square foot Office Building will feature built-to-suit professional, medical and dental office space for lease to businesses in the Raritan and Bridgewater communities. The building will receive a full interior and exterior makeover including an upgraded, more inviting lobby and hallway, creation of a fitness center available to employees in the building, and new hallways, carpet, and lighting in its common areas. A second lobby will be created on the south side of the building for easier access from the parking lot. Exterior renovations include new landscaping and an upgraded façade, and the parking lot will be sealed and restriped.
The 17,000 square foot Carriage House Building in the same complex at 626 North Thompson Street in Raritan will receive a complete renovation of the entire building to bring it up to modern standards.

Construction on both buildings will begin immediately and offices spaces for lease from 1,000 to 20,000 square feet will be available immediately.
