For more than 35 years, two generations of the Gardner family have made their mark on residential and commercial development throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The family's tradition of building excellence began in 1965, when Lawrence W. Gardner left a promising career on Wall Street for the opportunity he saw in New Jersey real estate. He founded Larken Associates in the early 1970's and remains its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Continuing the family tradition, his son David joined Larken Associates in the early 1980's and is the company's President and Chief Operating Officer.
